How does the AI invoice reader actually work?
You take a photo of the printed invoice. Stealth uploads it to our cloud, where Claude vision reads vendor, line items, quantities, unit prices, tax, and total. We post the extracted data as a draft entry; you tap to approve. Approving sends it to QuickBooks or Xero (or our internal AP if you want to stay self-contained). The model improves on YOUR vendors over time — by month two, most invoices post without a human touch.
What if Modisoft is already running at my store?
We install side-by-side. Both back-offices read the same Passport XML feed; Modisoft keeps running, Stealth POS reads in parallel. There's no risk to your existing workflow. Most operators run both for the first two weeks, then turn off Modisoft once they trust us.
Does the bank reconciliation actually work with my bank?
Yes. We use Plaid, which connects to 12,000+ US banks and credit unions. Once you link your account, we pull transactions every hour. Matching is fully automatic for the obvious cases (deposit ↔ POS batch, invoice ↔ check, fuel-load ↔ ACH); the trickier ones (split deposits, multi-invoice checks) go to a queue you clear in a couple of minutes.
Will it work without Modisoft?
Yes — that's actually the best path. New stores can skip Modisoft entirely. We become your back-office on day one.
Do I need new hardware?
No. Stealth POS runs on the existing Windows PC at your store (the one Modisoft used). We install a small Edge service via PowerShell; it watches your Passport's XML drop folder. Total disk and CPU footprint is trivial. If you don't have a back-office PC, we'll ship you a pre-imaged Intel NUC for $199.
Is my data secure?
Customer data is stored in AWS US-East with per-tenant row-level isolation. Every database row carries a tenant id; queries enforce isolation at every read and write. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with other tenants, and we don't keep AI prompts beyond what's needed to deliver the feature.
What about QuickBooks?
We sync two ways with QuickBooks Online and Xero. Posted invoices land as bills with their proper chart-of-account; reconciled deposits clear the matching transaction. Setup takes about 90 seconds.
How do I cancel?
Account → Billing → Cancel. One click. We don't ask why. Your data export is available for 90 days after cancellation.
